How To Open Disney Plus on a Tesla

In the last December update, Disney Plus was removed from many Tesla cars, but why ?

Tesla initially introduced Disney+ support to its vehicles in the summer of 2021, later expanding it to Australia and Europe by spring 2022. Now, with the app's sudden removal, Tesla owners are left wondering about the future of their in-car entertainment options.

It all stemmed from a conflict between Elon Musk and Bob Iger (CEO of Disney). While the clash went on, several Tesla owners were quick to notice the absence of Disney+ from the Tesla Theater in their cars. Indeed, Tesla has selectively removed Disney+ from vehicles where the app hasn't been recently used, causing understandable frustration among owners.

How to Restore Disney Plus :

Disney Plus apps was not totally removed from Teslas but just hidden from a part of the users! 

Disney Plus app will encounter two scenarios : 

First Scenario : You are a frequent Disney Plus user and the app didn't disappear from you Tesla Theater. In case, just sit back, relax and enjoy your favorite movie.

Second Scenario : Disney Plus is not present on your Tesla Theater. The manipulation is very simple! You need to search for 'Disney Plus' in the Tesla browser and open the Disney Plus website. Ta-dam, the app magically launches and will now on appear in your Tesla Theater!

Another way to open it is to directly use the vocal command and say "Open Disney Plus". Ta-dam the Disney Plus app magically opens.

You can now sit back, relax and enjoy your favorite Disney Plus show and movies from your Tesla!
