 How to Personalize the Default Lock Sound On Your Tesla

Personalizing your lock sound is at your fingertips, it's very simple! Here's how:

1. Click on the ToyBox icon.
2. Click on the Boombox option.
3. Then, click on Lock Sound.
4. From this dropdown menu, you will be able to select from a range of lock sounds that are already available on your Tesla by default.

So, how exactly do you add your own sound?

It's simpler than you might think. Once you've selected the perfect lock sound, make sure the file is in the format .wav and ensure that the file is named "LockChime.wav. Transfer it to the root level of an USB drive (not in any folder). The File should not be larger than 1MB. Please note that even though you can only have one lock sound on the USB drive at a time, the potential for creativity knows no bounds.

In most recent models, the only USB port equipped for data transfer is the one designated for Sentry Mode storage, typically located in the glovebox.
