This 3-Port USB Hub with DashCam Reader is a great addition to the Model 3 Highland. Installation is effortless, and it works exactly as expected. The built-in DashCam reader is super convenient, though you’ll need to format the drive via the car’s OS. Overall, a solid and practical accessory!
For some counterintuitive reason, Tesla is manufacturing vehicles in 2025 with a USB-A data port in the glovebox, and removed data functionality from the console USB-C port. As a result, if you want to connect wireless dongles for controllers or anything else that requires data, that needs to be done through the single USB-A port in the glovebox. This hub is a great solution for turning 1 port into 3, while also a providing Sentry/Dashcam storage option. Kudos to Jowua for providing a solution to Tesla’s head-scratching decision!
