Vous étiez tellement sûr et fier du chargeur sans fil de votre Tesla, mais lorsque vous essayez de charger votre Apple Watch de la même manière, vous ne parvenez tout simplement pas à le faire.
En effet, à partir de 2023, vous ne pourrez recharger votre Apple Watch qu'avec le chargeur à rondelle magnétique d'Apple.
Cela signifie que pour charger votre Apple Watch dans votre Tesla, vous devez la brancher sur le port USB de la voiture. Mais lorsque vous essayez de le faire, la montre ne se charge toujours pas. Que se passe-t-il ?
Le même chargeur à rondelle magnétique qui fonctionnait parfaitement à la maison ne rechargerait pas votre Apple Watch dans votre Tesla !
Et maintenant ? Devez-vous amener votre voiture au centre de service Tesla ? Absolument pas.
Quelle est la réelle cause du problème ?
Nous avons pris connaissance de ce problème grâce à un post Twitter d'une certaine Sarah B
Nous savions donc que nous devions faire quelque chose.
Au cours de nos recherches, nous avons découvert qu'il existe deux normes USB qui tentent de communiquer ici : USB et USB-PD, ici PD signifie Power Delivery.
Nous avons testé plusieurs montres Apple et avons constaté que l'Apple Watch SE 2 ne prend pas en charge les USB-PD. Cependant, les ports Tesla sont en USB-PD, donc incompatibles avec les chargeurs Apple. Voici donc la réponse à pourquoi votre Apple Watch SE 2 ne se recharge pas dans votre Tesla !
Nous avons donc développé un produit qui vous permet de recharger votre Apple Watch non PD via les ports USB-PD de votre Tesla.
Quelle est la solution ?
Nous vous présentons le nouveau kit de chargement Apple Watch pour Tesla
Le kit comprend :
- Un adaptateur USB-C vers USB-A (Power-only)
- Un adaptateur USB-C femelle vers USB-A mâle
Ces deux adaptateurs de poche peuvent résoudre votre problème de charge. L'adaptateur d'alimentation convertit l'USB-PD en une charge non PD de 12 W que le câble de charge Apple peut gérer. Alors que le deuxième USB sert uniquement de connecteur pour les câbles de type C à connecter aux ports de type A.
Comment utiliser le kit ?
Pour recharger votre Apple Watch dans votre Tesla, suivez simplement les étapes ci-dessous :
- Connectez l'adaptateur d'alimentation au port USB de Tesla
- Connectez-y l'adaptateur femelle-mâle
- Connectez votre câble de chargement Apple au deuxième adaptateur, comme indiqué dans l'image ci-dessus, et chargez votre Apple Watch comme vous le faites habituellement.

Cependant, pour être complet, nous n'avons pas pu tester toutes les montres Apple. Ainsi, si vous possédez un autre modèle que l'Apple Watch SE 2, votre problème peut provenir ou non de l'USB-PD.
De plus, nous ne pouvons pas nous prononcer sur la façon dont les futurs appareils prendront en charge les USB-PD ou non. Pour l'instant, ce kit est votre meilleur choix pour charger votre Apple Watch dans votre Tesla.
