Tesla Model Y tops the list of the most American-made cars for the third year in a row, confirming its benefit to the American economy and people. The company continues its development, preparing Master Plan 4, three new car models, and making its car line even more affordable to consumers.

Tesla Model Y is the most American-made car in 2024

Tesla continues to have a superior presence on the list of the most American-made cars. Model Y took first place for the third year in a row, while Model S and Model X took fourth and ninth place, respectively. Although Model 3 is ranked 21st, Tesla's vehicles still dominate the index at the top.

It is noteworthy that, in the top 10, only Tesla is an American company. Jeep, which was originally an American company, is now part of the transnational automobile manufacturing corporation Stellantis, formed after the merger of PSA and FCA. Names like Ford or General Motors, which are heavily promoted by the US government, do not have a single car even in the top 20.

Cybertruck joins the Dubai Police fleet

The Dubai Police General Command in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced the addition of a Tesla electric truck to its luxury patrol fleet. Cybertruck joins Dubai Police’s collection of high-performance patrol vehicles which includes: Bentley Continental GT, Aston Martin One-77, McLaren MP4-12C, Lamborghini Urus Performance, Bugatti Veyron, and others. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai was spotted following in his car behind Cybertruck.

Tesla Model 3 Long Range receives full EV tax credit in the US

The Model 3 LR is now eligible for the full $7,500 federal EV purchase tax credit in the US. This option joins the list of Model 3s qualified for the tax credit. All three Model 3 variants can now take advantage of the incentive. Passing the qualification indicates that Tesla was able to find a way to meet all of the government's criteria. These included requirements not only that the car be manufactured in North America, but also that battery components be sourced from the US or countries with trade agreements with it.

Master Plan 4

Earlier this week, Elon Musk announced that he was working on Master Plan 4. He did not give details but noted that it would be epic. The company's CEO has already presented three Master Plans, which are actually Tesla's roadmap. We can assume that it will revolve around the upcoming robot Optimus, robotaxi, and AI.

Three new car models

Although the details of Master Plan 4 have not yet been revealed, it seems that new car models will also be part of it. At Tesla's annual shareholder meeting, the company unveiled a teaser image that showed three new cars hidden under blankets. Two of them are believed to be a robotaxi and a compact car, while the third remains a mystery. Its shape is quite angular, which could hint at being the van that Musk previously mentioned. The size of the car, relative to the other cars in the image, suggests that the car will be smaller than the Cybertruck, but possibly close to the size of a Model X.
